ASTANA.KAZINFORM – Kazakhstan plans to manufacture and widely utilize unmanned aerial vehicles, as it was reported by the vice-president on space technologies of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary” Aidyn Aimbetov at the international scientific-practical seminar.
He noted that the practice of "Geoskan" (Russian group of companies) in use of drones is very important to "Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary", which is the national operator of the Earth remote sensing space system and high-accuracy satellite navigation system.
"In the future we plan to manufacture at our spacecraft factory unmanned aerial vehicles as well," - he said.
The participants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in time will learn about the possibilities of the use of drones in agriculture, urban development activities, cadastre and land management, surveying, road sector, construction, monitoring of power transmission lines.
Russians will show a master class on the process of building a flying mission plan for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), show post processing of the acquired aerial images in real-time.
Kazakh experts will talk share their experiences in the application of the Earth remote sensing space system and high-accuracy satellite navigation system.
The second day of the seminar will be held at "Zholaman" airport in the vicinity of Astana.
As the press-service of "Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary" reports, demonstration flights of unmanned aerial vehicles of "Geoskan" series will be shown, with demonstrating the capabilities of the software for the visualization and analysis of three-dimensional data - GIS satellite, Agro Satellite, Satellite WEB.
Presentation of the new UAV "Geoskan 501" will take place.
