ASTANA. KAZINFROM – Pilot-cosmonaut of Kazakhstan, “Khalyk Kaharmany” Aidyn Aimbetov participated in the International Symposium on air operations “ISAW 2016” in the Turkish city of Istanbul. The press service of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkey has informed about that.
The symposium was organized by the Turkish Air Force Academy; there was a discussion on possibilities of military space forces and prospects of their application.
This year was the 3rd time of symposium conduct. More than 1000 representatives out of 53 countries attended the event. The possibilities and perspectives of the global space industry were discussed during the event, noting the active use of air space forces, including unmanned aerial vehicles, ultrasonic flying objects, and special electronic systems in the missile and satellite industries.
In his speech, Kazakh pilot-cosmonaut has shared experience of stay in space and has told about those sensations and new knowledge he gained.
“When you look from space to the Earth you do not see outlines of borders between countries. I would like to see all international problems and conflict situations around the globe resolved peacefully”, - A.Aimbetov concluded.
A.Aimbetov also visited the school named by Abay, which was opened in
Istanbul in 2003 with the President of Kazakhstan participation. Representatives
of Kazakh Diaspora in Turkey of Zeitinburnu area in Istanbul, community
leaders, teachers and pupils of the school participated the meeting with
Also, there was organized the meeting with representatives of Kazakh Diaspora in Turkey. The event was attended by representatives of local political parties, public organizations, scientific and business circles, Kazakhstani students, as well as the management of Zeitinburnu area in Istanbul, the largest residence of ethnic Kazakhs.
