Types and description of geoproducts with high added value in the field of mapping

RSD Regional spatial data (RSD) – a set of medium – and large scale (1:100 000 – 1:10 000) spatial data for region (raster, vector and attribute), derived from the products L3, L4, L5 with the extension options.
SD PP Spatial data of population places (SD PP) – a set of large-scale (1:5 000 – 1:10 000) spatial data (raster, vector and attribute) for population places derived from the products L3, L4, L5 with the extension options.
LSD Local spatial data (LSD) – a set of large – and medium scale (1:5 000 – 1:100 000) spatial data for the individual territories (raster, vector and attribute), using the products L2 – L5 to solve the local problems.

The description of geoproducts with high added value in the field of mapping:

Regional spatial data (RSD) – a set of medium – and large scale (1:100 000 – 1:10 000) spatial data for region (raster, vector and attribute), derived from the products L3, L4, L5 with the extension options.

Raster data
Raster data includes the basic products L3-L5, created on the basis of satellites images from КА KazEOSat-1 and KazEOSat-2 satellites.
Data can be provided as a set of orthorectified satellite images (L3), covering the territory of the region, or as a single ortho-transferred mosaic (L5) on the whole territory of the region. Product L4 –will be used as a source of information about the relief.

1Vector data
The vector data is presented as a GIS or base of geodata includes a basic set of vector layers:

  • borders of the Region;
  • borders of districts of the Region;
  • borders of the population places;
  • road network;
  • relief;
  • hydrograph.

The extension option – addition vector layers ability and creation of GIS based on the ERS data to solve the industry thematic problems in the area of:

  • agriculture;
  • use of forest resources;
  • use of water resources;
  • geology and mineral resources;
  • prevention and natural disaster response;
  • and etc.

Spatial data of population places (SD PP) – a set of large-scale (1:5 000 – 1:10 000) spatial data (raster, vector and attribute) for population places derived from the products L3, L4, L5 with the extension options.

1Raster data
Raster data includes the basic products L3-L5, created on the basis of satellites images from КА KazEOSat-1 satellite. Data can be provided as a set of orthorectified satellite images (L3), covering the territory of the PP, or as a single ortho-transferred mosaic (L5) on the whole territory of the PP. Product L4 –will be used as a source of information about the relief or the height of locations.

2Vector data
The vector data is presented as a GIS or base of geodata includes a basic set of vector layers:

  • borders of the PP;
  • borders of districts of the PP;
  • road network;
  • residential and industrial districts;
  • hydrograph;
  • relief.

The extension option – addition vector layers ability and creation of GIS to solve the thematic problems:

  • geodetic points;
  • engineering services;
  • industrial facilities;
  • transport infrastructure;
  • objects of subsoil use;
  • waterworks;
  • vegetation;
  • and etc.

Local spatial data (LSD) – a set of medium – and large scales (1:100 000 – 1:5 000) spatial data (raster, vector and attribute) for the individual territories derived from the products L3, L4, L5 with the extension options.

  • road network;
  • hydrograph;
